If you are a woman, you might have noticed how the arms are part of the body that quickly loses strength, accumulating unwanted fat deposits. And this happens especially in the triceps, the muscles on the dorsal aspect of the upper arm – you know, those sexy fuckers that shake when you lift your arms to hi! Lol. So to avoid losing strength, it is vital to work those muscles out!
If you have weights, great, that is ideal. But if you are like me right now and don’t have access to the gym, you can keep yourself strong using only your body weight! I look at myself. Since 16 months ago, I started traveling nonstop, and I haven’t had access to a gym to lift some weights. And as a former crossfitter, this freaks me out a little, you know? My health comes first because I don’t want to get out of shape. And this is a promise I made myself: to keep my workout routines consistent (even if I have to slow down or change them).
So today, I’m sharing with you the routine I use to work out my triceps using my body weight. I have been doing it twice a week for the last three months, and it has helped me shape my arm.
I am currently studying Ayurvedic Nutrition and Pharmacy in Kerala, India. You can see in the video where I take classes; it is so open and pleasant. I’m so amazed by Ayurveda Science. It has been so so special!
But ok, ok, let’s get back to the routine.
I hope you enjoy it!
Xoxo,
Pia
