Raw Chocolate Avocado Pudding

This decadent raw chocolate avocado pudding is so creamy and delicious, made with only clean ingredients. Keto, vegan & paleo :)

As a chocolate lover with an autoimmune disease, I do know chocolate is not the best food for me. Still, I love it so much, and it makes me happy. So, when I eat cacao, I ensure I’m taking it from a good source. That’s why I enjoy searching for ways to use cocoa cleanly, and today’s recipe is all about it. This decadent raw chocolate avocado pudding is so creamy and delicious. I love how fast and easy you can make it; you only need a food processor. 

One funny fact about this recipe is that I made it once when my husband’s parent was at our house, and since then, my father-in-law has become obsessed with it. Instead of a nasty chocolate bar, this chocolate avocado pudding has become the go-to chocolate dessert he has wanted for a long time. Who knows, it might become yours too!

Raw Chocolate Avocado Pudding 

Ingredients

Avocados: They have to be ripe. If you cannot find two mediums, you can use four small ones.

Sweetener: Okay, here is where you can choose whichever sweetener you regularly use. I mostly use raw honey as I find it beneficial for my health. If not, I use maple syrup. But when I want to lose a bit of body fat, I use monkfruit (about two tablespoons).

Coconut Milk: Please use full-fat canned coconut milk. Lower-fat coconut milk is not suitable for this dessert. Plus, the fat in the coconut is very healthy for you!

Cocoa Powder: make sure you buy cacao from an organic source. I personally like this one. 

Sea salt: You can use any salt, but coarse salt is the best for this dessert.

In terms of equipment, you are going to need a food processor or a blender as all you need is to give it a nice blend. And that-is-it! Horray to simple recipes.

You can enjoy it alone or with fruit on top, such as raspberries, bananas or dry coconut.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium size avocados (or four small)

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or raw honey

  • 1/2 cup full-fat canned coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

  • Pinch of sea salt

Directions

  • Blend or process all the ingredients together until they are smooth.
  • Sparkle some sea salt on top.

Notes

  • You can enjoy it alone or with fruit on top, such as raspberries, bananas or dry unsweetened coconut.
